e.d.e ..... Ok that "Rich In Paradise" track was an Italian record from the late '80s. I did that bootleg re-edit because it has a lot of cheesy sampled scratching & annoying vocals, so I cut all those out & extended the good bits. None of the actual production on that is me. I think the drums are all 909, or samples of, but again they use setting with softer, rubber-sounding attacks & usually 909 samples are of harder-edged tunings.

Try http://www.hollowsun.com for loads of free downloads of classic, & not so classic, drum machine kits.

Yes, I'll have a go at this track. What bit should I do?

tb 303 kit? you mean some 303 multisamples? no drums with the 303 see.....saying that i have simply loads of those sounds and they are def a bit overused in house but upload what ever you want and with all the elements uploaded we can each make a track out of it....it will take me a while to get some stuff down into my pc but theres no real rush with this- i look forward to hearing and working with what ever you submit...

feather if you have the time a whole track out of the samples would be very cool but we can always do this a completely different way and all work on the same track and do different bits- let me know what you all think as i dont mind either way i just think it will be cool to finally do some house collabs...g

Another House head here :D, i can provide some nice X-Base patterns and even some nice swinging Moog bass lines sequenced off the x-base.

Here's a couple of demos to listen to of the X-Base with a circuit bent 727 i have.
Both clips are completely dry and start out with the X-Base pattern and then the madness of the 727 comes in and continues all the way through with me just flicking switches on the fly on the 727.
The X-Base pattern just repeats right through.

sample a simple beat of your creation back into the beast then pitch up by 12 (or 24?) and apply a high pass filter

jigginz - I couldn't get those links to download properly. I really want to hear your circuit bent 727.

That's odd! The link works for me and i'm not listening to them off my hard drive, they're being streamed off my free AOL Webspace.

If you PM me your email address i'll send you them.

Cheers
