Hello,

I always noticed that the TUI of the MPC Live is not very responsive compared to a smartphone. I'm okay with that but I have the impression that it got worse since the 2.6 update.

Just try to quickly repeat the same note via the pad perform mode. There is a certain latency (which is not so bad since we don't play on the TUI) that seems to cause problems when quickly taping on the screen. For example, it is annoying when you need to rename a sample, a program or anything else. You have to be very patient because some letters are not taken into account.

Is it just my unit? Can you confirm the issue? Do I have to take the plastic protection off the screen?

Thank you,
creal.

The touchscreen of the MPC Live (and presumably X) is clearly not as responsive as (say for instance) my iPhone 8 Plus, but I didn't notice any change from 2.5 to 2.6 firmware... Removing your factory screen protector cover won't likely change the responsiveness (unless yours has become discolored or gunked up)...

Today I had the same feeling.
But it was a very hot day of 40 degrees and I thought maybe is because of the heat, maybe my fingers are a bit wet or maybe the touchscreen is wet.
But now I read your post and I think maybe it is really the new update?
Not a big issue though.

Thanks for your feedback.

Maybe the best way to know if this is a real issue is to compare units of people who are still with 2.5 and other (like us) who work with 2.6. Imho, the pad perform mode or the renaming function would be a good way to start.

I don't know you, but for me it is a real problem, not a major one but still. I like to go fast wether it's on the computer or on the MPC.

Is there people interested in testing their TUI responsiveness, please? It takes a few seconds :)

Thanks,
