I'm not a FL STUDIO user and I mainly use it, for step sequencing.
Yeah, I originally bought two Fire's to make it easier for me to sequence my drum machines when doing live work, but I hadn't touched FL Studio in since it was Fruity Loops, and even then, it was a "try out" and I promptly went back to Reason. When I tried to apply the Fire for said purpose, I was originally using FL Studio as a VST in Ableton, and giving FL full control of the MIDI channels of the drum machines. It worked, but the setup was a nightmare - I wasn't familiar with MIDI implementation in FL Studio - or more importantly - the channel rack, so ultimately I bailed on this and was in the hole $400, then I started using FL Studio when I got a laptop and lost the power cord for my MPC, and promptly fell in love withe Fire.
I so wish I could sit down with Akai to talk about the Fire, it has SO much potential, but misses key things that would make it useful to the average FL Studio user.

It's my main DAW, and even with the meager sequencer updates we're getting, I'm all for 11. I expect the 11.x point updates to continue to bring some much needed stuff to the plate as well.
