What' the Difference between Sample Edit vs. Audio Edit Mode

Seems like one is limited compared to the other. For instance no reverse in sample edit from what I can see.

Sample edit has reverse. I use it all the time in the software. The audio track editor doesn't. Thats basically for trimming and fading tracks, and the warping stuff, not much else. Luckily you can open your audio tracks in the sample editor like everything else.
