Haven’t installed part 2 yet, but I used part 1 a lot. It was dope.

To be fair, the MPC Live (and presumably X) still works fine in Reason 11, as does the MPC Software running as a plugin. I've noticed no changes whatsoever, anyway.

Until the MPC Software gets proper VST3 support, I won't bother trying to run Reason Plugin in it. Even then I likely won't, because the MPC Software is just... meh.

Reason is far better than “good” - it’s what serious producers use.

Reason is one of those polarizing DAWs. Some think it’s great, some think it’s not great. Some serious producers love it, some serious producers don’t use it. I don’t have it installed on any of my computers, although I’m curious about the Reason Rack. I used to be sure I’d upgrade, but as time has passed, I doubt it will become that serious of a component in my composition process, and plus the AU version isn’t out yet. My excitement and interest has definitely tapered off.

As far as Reason being what serious producers use, who knows? I know I didn’t use it for the song in the video below, nor on any of the albums listed above it. Hope I’m still considered a serious producer... LOL. Just messing around folks. Listen to my shiznit!!

lt saved my production when l ditched Protools and l didnt have the MPC 2000XL.
I learned it and it became second nature to me. I got it at Reason 3 and l seen it grow. Im happy. But l also jumped on the S1v4 and love that daw also.
So my setup lm good.

Yeah i bought it at version 3.x too. Stopped using it about version 4. I say that my interest is tapering off, but let's be real - $200-ish for version 11, I'll get it. Will try to integrate it into my workflow, and will decide from there.

Yeah that’s what I thought I saw. That’s not a bad price to check it out. Hell I’d spend that on some other studio toy in a heartbeat. Might as well get up to the current version of Reason. Worst case I’d at least be a “serious producer” then!!! Or wait, do I have to actually USE it to be a serious producer? Or can I just HAVE it??? LOL. Man just playin folks.

Haha - okay bet. I’ll do that. Just going to hold out for the AU version of the Rack.

If l were E l would go R11 Suite for $249.
