FX (MPC X)

Sorry for the dumb question, but is there a way on the MPC X to assign internal FX to an entire track or sequence (or song, for that matter), rather than doing it pad by pad (or sound by sound) in Program Edit?

You can Assign 4 Effects to the Program itself. Or you can Assign 4 effects to the Master Output

Yea
Pads programs, audio track, busses and masters can all have 4 effects stacked.
You can find them in the side bar thingy or in the menu by clicking the editors for them

Make sure the program icon is selected when choosing your effect.
