Peace ,
Has anyone bought the HP SSD hard drive and does it work well?

I can get 500GB for $52.99, that's not bad.

What up Danoc!

My experience with HP drives has been marginal. Had one a couple years back and it failed - sent it back, received another, and it failed.

I've been a fan of crucial since then. That's what I have in my Live. The 2Gb. But I'm truly portable. My entire sample library (well, the meaningful stuff) is on that drive. So I can literally make music anywhere standalone.

Those HP S700 are trash, on the highest level of trash. Anyone who tells you to buy them, I suggest you take them off your X-MAS card list.

LOL now you say it too? Dam. Once E said he had 2 and they didn't work l said nope.

I may get Wetern Digital Green. I have one and it works great. It was only 250 Gigs.

1TB for this price you can't beat that. Im getting this for my PC and for my drom sounds. My drums are growing rapidly and a TB will do the trick.

Crucial has one for $107, 1TB  that's a great price . l gotta chose now.

I tend to stick to SAMSUNG 850 EVO, you can get a 500GB one from $99 right now. But the 250 will cost you 119. Those WD Green speeds are not even close to what is marketed. https://www.newegg.com/samsung-850-evo-500gb/p/N82E16820147373

Well, for this situation I wasn't looking for speed, I was looking for SSD what wouldn't break or fall apart quickly. Remember I am using this for my drum sounds, EFX sounds, percussion sounds, things like that. From my WD SSD they load pretty quick. So I am not worried.

But that was a great find. I will look into that, the price is not bad either. Thanks. I might end up with That one you showed me. Samsung!!! I see the Samsung for $79, 500GB

Hey the first one I sent are refub/used. I would steer away from $99.99 EVO. I don't trust used drives. :Sigh:
