I think the new OS (1.70) is @$$

I've been noticing a lot of windows like bugs...for instance having to close windows and open them again because sometimes the info is missing on the screens, or certain fields don't work properly. Everything on screen seems to move a lot slower too. 1.60 was a lot smoother....I'm thinking of going back to it.

I just hope the next OS is str8!

i actually like 1.70 better, i dont get that weird midi overload bug that would happen if i just playing my keyboard while browsing menus.

i know it sounds strange, but i like to **** around while im loading samples or sumpin.

I would just wait until it comes out on the U.S. website. Then I would download and install it. Hopefully by that time they would work out any bugs it may have.

I have no problems with the 1.60 at all.

I think its better than 1.6 main reason = random midi data delete bug was eating me up alive... ,

I just hope they release an OS update soon as I have a very strong feeling that 1.7 was released only to keep their word on december update,

The thing is that there are supposed to be aksys improvements that make transferring files and such more reliable. The "funny" thing is that I never had an aksys crash while transferring files till now....it happened a few times.

I missed the Q-FX on record input problem I guess. Any details?

Same here.. os 1.6 was a piece of sh*t. OS 1.7 seems to be a lot more stable.

Works here though!

I went to the Record page, pressed F4 (Q-FX), and used the dial change from OFF to COMMAND and FX. Works just fine.

I'm running a *beta* of v1.70, not the real thing. So maybe that explains it. Or maybe some other setting prevents it on your machine... 96k maybe? Or digital input? Dunno.

I just experimented a little. Q-FQ cannot be switched on when using the MAIN OUTs and the record input source (resampling).

Maybe that's what's happening at your place?

I never knew that, I'll cheek that out, been working on the same remix for a long time and its been set on main outs ever since I started 1.7,
