Reinstall Factory Content

Hi !
Is it still impossible to have the factory content on the akai website ?
If I install Vault, it's not enough ? What Expansion/Folder is really important to avoid dysfunctions ?
Can someone send me the "Factory Content" ?

Just wanted to follow up and say my impatience was unwarranted, Akai got back to me within 24 hours with a link to the necessary content.

Hi,

I need all the original content back on my MPC LIVE ASAP!
I deleted all the preset sounds to start blank, but now i am trying to sell my MPC LIVE today or tomorrow!
Its Saturday and i emailed them to request the file link, but they wont get back to me until 24-72 hours after monday, so its urgent.

I thought it would be way easier to just download and install all the original content in a few hours tops, but it seems it is not.

PLEASE HELP!
I legit bought my mpc off zzounds and just wanna sell it for some bucks to move in 2 weeks! :0

Here's what you need to do (straight from Akai support):

We can restore all of the MPC content with one file and a USB drive or SD card (exFAT format, at least 16GB capacity). I recommend using a USB flashdrive over an SD card. I have noticed people having some difficulty performing this procedure with an SD card.

Follow these steps to perform the reset:

1. Download the content file.

2. Extract the file from the zipped folder once completed.

3. Place the autorun folder on the root of an empty flash drive or SD card with at least a 16Gb capacity.

4. Insert the drive into the MPC.

The content installation should begin automatically. Do not touch or power off the MPC during this process. The MPC will restart once this process is completed. It takes about 15-20 minutes to update.

For the record, it took my Live less than 5 minutes to complete this. YMMV...

Yeah I doubt it's worth worrying about. Though I'm sure you'll reach out to your mod buddies to get the post removed.

What you did, I would do the same. Just not on a public forum where anyone can download the software and sounds. There are sound packs in there, that they sale. If they want, they could go after Tutor. Talk to the guy in private and help that way.

No, there is not.

The only way it can be extracted is if you own an MPC Live/X/One, which you would pay for anyway. It's an executable that literally only runs on said MPC's. There is literally no reason why they would go after anyone, let alone MPC-Tutor. But please, carry on.
