mpc live sampling problem

hy guy i have a huge problem , when i go on the mpc live on the sampel program , i put my recorcd player 1200 on , take the record program on , press the button for monitor , my singnal comes sterio in , all parameter are there , when i go on sampling R nothing comes in , but when i go on sampling L the parameters comes again in but not for sampling R , it dosent mather or mono or sterio , who i record only one side on the sterio income !!!!! when i put the kabel out so one singal came in , it dosent work to mono for the same sides , wih the mpc 1000 it was total differnt !!!! you croll to left or right , but on the mpc i dont know , or its damage !????? so i go to the shop and change the mpc !?????? or is that a menü or instrucion problem , please give me a call so i can do someting !!!!! thanx hip hop producer bro !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
