Many people does not use ableton, do you not see what the fundamental problem is? to install functions that are not usable if you not buy another DAW?

So I guess you'd want two installers: one with the new feature, and one without.
That is not realistic at all, knowing how complex a matter coding is.
Either you take it or leave it.
I love Ableton Live but won't be using this feature, probably, but I will not be complaining about it.

As always, this new feature is another selling point.
And I'd love to see fixes, such as PDC, browser sorting etc, for real.

I think this new control is cool. Kind of pissed because I got the force not knowing there would this much overlap. Still haven’t been able to unload it without a big loss...

I work standalone mainly and would rather see the other functions implemented like enhanced sampling options and disk streaming but I can also be patient as they have really delivered on other updates.

I think I have enough in this where I could be really but hurt over the situation. But why. I could do everything I wanted to since I got it in May 2017.... everything else has been a bonus for me.

Checkfield: do you want third party features for a software you have to buy seperate yes/no...

EDIT: Oh, I see. You can control Ableton without committing to being in controller mode. Standalone mode can still communicate w/ Ableton.

“Ableton Live control inside your MPC in standalone mode”? Doesn’t Ableton Live control, by definition, require that you’re connected to a computer running Ableton? How is it “standalone mode”?

Akai are literally killing their Force sales. Why would anyone buy a Force when the Live/X has superior pads, and almost every other function the Force has- including Ableton integration-which half the MPC users don't give a flying fcuk about? Stupid move by Akai, once again.

This was an Economical Power Move! Ableton pretty much saved Akai on the Software side of things.
Akai Integrates Ableton
Ableton Pays Akai AND Ableton Increases its Own Software Sales(Win/Win situation)
Akai uses those funds to Further the MPC 3.0 Project
Akai then Drops another Machine(s), hopefully, with New Hardware to accommodate our Firmware Wishes
etc etc etc

You should be able to. It would won’t have a fancy GUI but they went over other devices and how you can scroll though them.

I doubt you’ll be able to drop samples into it from the Mpc but change loop points, trigger sample, and change parameters I am pretty confident you’ll be able to.
