how do i get that?????????

hey everybody i did a search and i didnt see it so here i go HOW DO YOU program an snare roll THE ONES FOUND IN most southern tracks like lil jon beats or like the one in LUDA's #1 spot(track two of his new ish) this has been rackin my brain for sometime now i dont know if you get that effect by using step edit or if you can actually play it by the pads any and all help is much appreciated!!!!!

Slow down the tempo, place 2 of the same snare/hhat/whatever pads next to each other and do the rolls manually if you want. Afterwards, alter the velocity, tune and filter just a touch via step edit mode and there you have it. It works for me either way, note repeat and/or manually. Use both together if you want and take advantage of that option also.

you can also use note repeat in double time, if you want your song to be a 80 bpm 4 bar loop record it at 160 bpm 8 bar loop. This will allow you to do your snare roll at a 1/16 or a 1/32. Deja Vu
