Nope...because we're all spoiled Brats lol.
We are gonna complain even if they addressed all of our complaints lol.
We want the MPC to Produce the music for us. We dont wanna learn how to EQ/Filter channels, We Want Presets for EVERY feature!
We want it to Stream Hours of Audio, instead of using another device to play back music. We wanna Bottleneck all of our Midi Controllers into it..., instead of running the instruments thru a Mixer...Like Real Musicians lol.
They gave us 95% of what we asked for....ANDDDDDD....guess what......We're still NOT Satisfied  :Sigh:

P.S. Sarcasm!

It's a good update for someone buying a new LIVE or X. Lots of bug fixes and the ableton integration is big.

Off topic:
Other New Features
Your MPC X and MPC Live now support USB to Ethernet adapters. Go to Preferences and then the Ethernet tab to configure your Ethernet connection.

Could this open the door for DANTE? How about transferring data?

Off topic:
Compatibility
MPC 2.7 Desktop Software, MPC X and MPC Live are now supported on macOS Catalina.

2 weeks earlier than I expected.

Off topic:
MIDI Sync
Fast tempo changes are now registered correctly by the warp algorithm when receiving MIDI Clock

NICE!

Off topic:
Song:
Convert to Sequence now renders events to the first unused sequence

NICE!

I'm scratching my head on this update. First this is the release Force was suppose to get a month after was released around March, right. It's now December and we all get the Force hardware update. :?:

The network daw control and network midi control is nice. I cannot wait to see where Akai goes with it, but I'll continue to enjoy the 2.6 update features which where great.

6 months for that shit?
Why would I buy an Mpc if I had to use Ableton?
Why don't you solve the bugs first?
Why don't you make a WORKING STANDALONE as promised and advertised?
I guess this 6 months of useless coding will just add bugs to the already unsolved ones.
Very stupid move.
And people with move to Roland Mc707 this way.
Let's see 2.8.
After that, I decide if I sell Mpc and get an Mc707.

Any reason is legit, less sabotaging the units.

Contractually obligated? I'd still be indifferent to a deal made with a company whose product I don't use. If this were for the Force only, I'd get it as that appears to be made for Ableton.

Future advancement? That could be anything. This is future advancement and does nothing for me, and I suspect nothing for the majority of users.

Want a new controller/hardware piece that full intergrated.

Frisbi wrote:Why don't you make a WORKING STANDALONE as promised and advertised?

That's what they are doing.

They'll sell more units and you'll get more updates.

If you're thinking about getting the MC 707 over the MPC LIVE. You're not
using 98% of what the LIVE does.

No man, I still have glitches on my Mpc Live.
After 3 years.
That's a problem when I play live or record with track out.
I am waiting since 3 years.
Of course I get disappointed if they lose time with extra features and don't solve the basic problems.
That's a professional way to work, first you solve the basic problems and sell a bugless glitchless device for more then a 1000 dollars.

Standalone when changing mode for example.
And not 3 years, it is 2 years.
It's still there anyway.

I'm glad we have two midi In ports so we can control the mpc with two different midi keyboards! its not like controlling two different programs/keygroups was intended at all...

Will probably take another 6 months... Waiting for this was a waste of time

Get that 707 if you can!
