If you want to learn about economics have a look at behringer...

Mpc continue service? 3 years ago, prototype? I don't know what you are using, but people are waiting month and month for basic bugfixes or useful features.

If i want to use this ableton hipster techno daw, i would buy a mouse for 5 bugs or one of the 1000 availabke push like mute on/ off controller, this is a mpc board if you have not seen it yet...

JJOS has shown the world how to program a firmware they couldn't, and it sells good. If economics is the only thing you like to see, watch how greed can ruin a good product, just go! There are plenty of companies waiting for their chance.

Listen to the costumers is the new seller, welcome to 2019 my little marketing genius

Again no argument. Because they didn’t tailor this update with the specific features you wanted, they aren’t listening to the customers?

I was able to make all the tracks on my soundcloud and YouTube without any updates....
I suck at mixing and mastering but I was doing my thing, without all these customer requests that are so needed for you to finish a track...

Behringer is using a multinational approach to give synths with slave labor.... but yeah, they listen to their customer base..... how much are they servicing machines made three years ago? Seems to me they replace and don’t update....

I applaud behringer but you really don’t have an argument, again. The average behringer product is 1/3 of the price of Akai. I guarantee you a 1000 dollar product from behringer will not be getting updates 3 years later. In fact you’ll be lucky to get 400 bucks for used deep mind that was over 1000 bucks three years ago..... with no updates past 6 months since its release. They even offered cheaper variants of it with that 6 month time frame.

Don’t get it twisted.

I'm new to the X and I bought it cause I hate the computer for making music. It sucks all creativity and fun out of it. So far I'm super happy with standalone honestly, though some stuff is quirky.

When I made the decision to buy the gear, having a "plan b" to use it as a controller (for the MPC software) was reassuring. Of course, now that I've tasted standalone there is no going back. ever. I think they'll sell more units with this feature, just because someone coming from ableton will think "well if I don't like the workflow I can still use it as a controller". Though I'm hoping the next update adds more badass standalone stuff.

For whomever thinks adding this feature will somehow affect performance, it won't. Just learn to code (python is easy) and after 2 days you'll understand how ridiculous you are being. Stop spreading baseless lies around the internet. Learn to if statement.

I’m starting to reconsider if was wise to use mpc software as my main daw.. Because the software has been broken for me sinds 2.6.

I can try to do a clean windows install and see if the problems are gone.. Or I can start to use the mpc software as a plugin in Cubase and let cubase handle the vst processing..

Performance, workflow, usability, call it what you want... The point is not if the "ableton feature" makes the machine slower etc., the point is overloading.

I wrote Mpc tutorials and made workshops for about 10 years (mpc 500, 1000/2500 and mpc live), what we have here now, is a huge learningcurve for beginners, because of all this external stuff.

But people wanted a mpc standalone, maybe with a good mpc-daw, but not a wifi, w-lan, sample onlineshopping, ableton daw controlling hybrid.

They should put their focus on where it started. What's next, an onlineshop for buying t-shirts and stickers from ableton inside the mpc? :worthy:

Corney as ****,

They have the basics down and added audio tracks, now a feature to control ableton.
Take some **** midol and sleep off acting like a ****

You can’t finish a track because they added ableton control.....

Overloading isn't a word used in the context of technology. You have no clue what you are talking about (don't care bout your humble brag), so stop talking about it.

Adding 100KB of code on your casio calculator was a big deal in the 60s. You think that's still relevant on the new gear? lmao

I see you don't know what you are writing here. One of the best consoles (for its price) , the x32 is about 7 years old and gets continues updates, last one 4 weeks ago.

China working conditions? Please inform better, also where all the other products are manufactured.

Work in germany and see how workers die in the age of 70 during the work, of course without getting a pension before.

People worked and paid a lot getting a modern mpc, often not willing to buy more and more because of the industrie told them, they need a super third party daw...

Can you write it in german please?
Geniouses like you are able to spell correct in other languages.

Overloading bla bla, easier for you: too many buttons and menues because of too many third party bloatware "features", better?

And now go coding coder...

The **** with a dick continues to point and spudder because Akai didn’t update his machine a enough.

Bier flicker syndrome. On full display.

Face it bro, you have no substance and deserve to be mocked.

Allright, try to mock, with what? Your colorful language, halitosis or cotton balls?
