I had it since 2.4 and I still have it on 2.7.
Can someone confirm same issue please or not so I can understand if my Mpc Live is a faulty unit?

No I'm not experiencing this. try to do the hardware reset and then reinstall 2.7. Are using the software version or the firmware / standalone?

Standalone.
And I had it since 2.4 and I already made a reset but nothing changed.

I was enjoying using the new network midi port controlling soft synths, but now the MPC Live network midi ports stopped showing up on my Mac, despite the Akai Network Midi driver showing the MPC as connected.

Anybody else lose the network midi ports?

Edit: Uninstalled and reinstalled the akai network midi app and the ports have returned.

i'm not sure if this is a bug or an intentional design decision, but the tempo sync and transports for the MPC's internal sequencer and Ableton Live control mode are completely independent. to get them to both play at once, you have to press play in one mode, switch over to the other and press play there too. and if Ableton Link is not enabled, then they're not even tempo synced.

Sounds pretty messy, i dont think im gonna jump on this update too soon, got shows to play, dont need whats added, dont need extra dramas, akai clearly dont listen to their customers, no proper updates for yonk, hate this system and all thats come with it, splice, abelton, bunch of plugin synths, no sir i dont like it. wanna just latch hold a sample ike any other sampler or mpc can do :vomit:

I recently just installed 2.7 and I notice after awhile when you record/play my headroom for my plugins got from 0.00 to 35.9, I’m wondering anyone had experience this in this update cause this is the first for me and I know it’s the update that causes my software to do it to multiple plugins not just one, and if so how did you guys fix the problem. Please help me with a solution, or should I just go back to 2.6 :WTF:

Anyone have the 2.6 installer and compatible firmware update for mac? I didnt save that one. Think its time to rollback.

I guess Akai is more concerned with the MPC X working with Ableton versus it's own self/controller mode. This is really nonsense that this update killed the Controller Mode.

If you check out the Akai support forum page, you’ll see they’re advising people to roll-back to 2.6. They’ve realised there are issues that make 2.7 a premature release!

Threshold parameter doesn't work on stereo samples in Chop Mode using version 2.7. Mono samples seem to be okay when tested with 2.7 however. Sample in both cases was approx 2.5 min. Posted to Akai forum.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by the 'threshold' parameter not working? Do you mean 'threshold' mode just doesn't detect any peaks no matter what setting (i.e. zero slices at all settings), or do you mean threshold initially detects multiple peaks but adjusting the 'threshold' parameter doesn't discover more peaks?

BTW, did you actually mean 2.5 minutes? Threshold chopping isn't particularly suitable for samples that long, for a start it can only detect 128 slices max.
