digital in

Hey all,

Just wanted to know, is it better to use the digital ins on the mpc as opposed to the analog ins? My source is a CD and the player has digital outs. When its all said and done does the quality sound better by not using the analog ins?

Digital will always be more clear.

However, digital is not always best! The analogue inputs may add some noise to your samples dirtying them up a little, which is what some people want.

If you can, hook them both up and compare the results!

I Use Digital IN to record Wav's direct in my MPC from my Computer'S Digital OUT. Analog INS for my S950 or Phono.
