Is it technically possible to implement a feature to send all tracks of a standalone project with usb?
I mean, something like we play in standalone, send the tracks with usb and record them as separate tracks on a multitrack on a computer in real time?
If possible, for my workflow that would be much more useful then any daw integration.

Roland has been doing this with their Aria line for years (they all pull double duty as audio interfaces as well). I’d wager there’s no technical reason preventing Akai from implementing the feature. Getting them to do it, however...

Yeah this is why I was thinking about it.
We have 3 usb ports, is it so difficult to send our tracks throught that?
Tascam also makes a mixer where any channel is recorded in real time in separate tracks on SD card.
That could also be a good alternative as well.

You can send audio over USB, if you have the right interface, but it's limited. Also, this the reason they should've incorporated Dante, Cobra Net, or AVB. At this point sending audio over usb is backwards thinking.

Can't pass the audio through the mixer in controller mode. We'll unless you re-route the audio back into the console.

Well in the case of Mpc, it's forward thinking ahah.
You play live, you record, then you can make a mix and a mastering.
It would be fast and easy.
Why not?

NO. You can replace the MPC internal soundcard with a class compliant sound card, but you can't plug the MPC standalone and send the mix directly to a DAW for instance, that is not possible as of now.

It might be possible by using two audio interfaces, but it’s probably not a very practical approach.

Doable with iConnectivity Audio4c, which acts as back to back audio interfaces for two hosts simultaneously, enabling any patching of channels between them.
