Global edit for Keygroup Programs

Can you globally change the Start/End/Loop information for ALL samples in a Keygroup Program? Including layers? It's hard when you, for instance, get a seamless loop going for one sample in a keygroup and want those settings applied to all samples. I really, really want to use the Live to multisample some of my hardware synths and samplers, and this makes it very tedious when I have to go through EACH sample in a keygroup to do this.

Probably wouldn't give you seamless loops anyway, the loop points for each sample would be unique, not identical.

But if you do want to do this you could do it in autosampler, just set the loop points in the recording config. Maybe do a test first to find out a suitable set of loop points and then apply these to the next recording session.

Related, I wish we could at least Discard globally. Do all the trimming for example, and when done, discard all. It would save a lot of time versus discarding after each and every edit.

It would also be nice to affect a particular layer across a program. Lower level for all layer 4 samples, for example.

You might be right. I just wish I could at least give it a try. For such a powerful sampler, I'm not sure why it seems so much easier to multisample on stuff like the S1000 or S5000

This too.

Also, especially with velocity layers, it's very hard to edit and listen back to the sample you are editing when using a midi keyboard.

I believe you can edit start/stop points Globally in a Keygroup Program.

Just go to the Sample edit tab within the Keygroup Program, and set the "Keygroup" Tab up top to "ALL". Then you can adjust all the Keygroups in that Program simultaneously.
