Mixer Help

This is any easy one for you guys out there. I'm having trouble getting the sound from the 8 outs to my board. I bought a snake with unbalanced wires and connected four of the tracks to my mixer but to no avail with the sound. ONly way I can hear something is with the stereo connection. If I have to program in the MPC mixer screen please let me know because I've tried to mess with it and it still doesnt work.

In the mixer screen did you go to the top where the channel number is and move the data wheel? It should say either the pad # or the channell # or E for effects. The indiv. #'s should come up.
