I think it's an akai only format(?). There's no real advantage to using either .snd or .wav on your mp. Use whatever.

Actually There Is A Big Difference ......But it's Outside the MPC..... EASY EDITING of .wav Files in MAC/PC Programz.....Plus MANY NON-AKAI Hardware Samplers.

whats with people callin the mpc just "mp" i hear the heatmakers sayin it now im hearin this guy sayin it...
