They are smaller pads, similar to other APK controller and Midi Keyboard controller pads. Nevertheless, finger drumming is way more that possible. I played on smaller and it took about 10 minutes to adjust. If this

I been using turntables to sample for year with a mixer. Never been an issue. I actually perfer using a mixer, because I can EQ the sounds before sampling. Also may mixers have a better phono amps then any of the MPC'S.

Are you just arguing for the sake of arguing? All of the points I made are valid if the items I pointed out make a difference to him. I really don't care about your opinion, so I'm not sure why you're attempting to debate this.

Looks like it with a different gui, if you notice at the bottom of the picture it says drum synth 1, drum synth 2 etc.
Seems to be the same architecture as the 500 plugin but not sure if it will be as robust. 2 dedicated reverbs and delays.

What are you talking about? We're talking about the MPC one. Isn't the Topic, "Could we talk about the new MPC one?" :lol: This is strictly about the MPC ONE! So keep posting your ideas and thoughts, that how we all learn.

I think you're right. It must be a lite version of the AIR Drum Synth 500. I've never used it, have you?

Naw, I have very limited vst experience but I remember when they announced this it was right near the force launch and the hype synth. So I assumed that it would get put on the live because I thought it would be less resource heavy but maybe not. I also thought we have seen it by now.
I was reading somewhere about a beta tester saying we were going to be very happy with the developments coming from Akai, I hope it’s not just a drum synth and new hardware. Although that’s literally all he said but it was within the context of the a big stuff people go ape shit over, pdc, disk streaming, or multitimbral support.

Yeah, I read about the Drum Synth and the VST is 1 gb of space, with a recommenced 8gb of RAM. So they must've condensed it.

Maybe they just needed to get this other piece of hardware announced. It's possible they could announce more. I'm heading there on Saturday and maybe Sunday. Maybe Akai won't be in private room, with appointments like the last couple of years. :lol:

With the One at first I was like meh... because it wanted to see a more inspirational piece. But, now I think it will workout well.

Well holy shit - we’re getting a Drum Synth plug-in in standalone before we get Hype. That’s pretty bad ass, though I would have preferred Hype in standalone first. We already have access to an endless selection of drum samples.
