We might be strangers as you will say but it’s a part of kind of part of American culture... maybe not one you like but you will find it everywhere from construction sites to “clowning” your buddies. It was the whole point of the nastiness with me that one night.

Let’s hope there’s no more feelings getting hurt. It’s all in fun man, no matter how tasteless.

I wasn't going to respond to this since we really just need to move on, but - as an American - you and I have two very different ideas about what our culture is - especially a healthy culture. This is also a world wide forum, so Americans aren't the only members here, nor should they be.

Anyway, can we all just move past this and talk about the One?

I don't see anything healthy in american culture right now.
As an italian, I also don't see anything healthy in italian culture at the moment.
So let's keep on talking about music, it's much better, and forget about this sort of things, we don't get anywhere.

Being able to take a joke is pretty healthy. Outrage culture is not healthy for anyone and creates division over very tribal issues.

I will say western culture is corrupted but clowning with your friends, and being a butt of joke are nothing in the greater schemes.

It seems you have never been to the east coast, the south or any midwestern city.....
Talking shit is as American as apple pie. Even my friends from the west coast can talk shit with the best of them.

Cowering and being outraged over anything is the antithesis of such an idea...

Last bit from me.

Forward with one. Sorry guys. But it should be apparent that society is so polarized that we cannot even discuss products without feelings getting into way. For this I am truly sad.

Yeah that's the point,we are totally polarized.
They are trying to convince us thar being selfish and disenchanted is the way to go.
Not for me at all.
I didn't want to offend anyone, I have a great opinion about usa culture in music, movies, literature and any form of expression.
I just feel sad and disturbed when I see how bad is the situation now, in Usa as in Italy.
But that's really out of topic.
Let's answer with music so.
We have Mpc!!!

Things are no where nearly that bad in the US. People need to go outside, put down their smartphones and get off of Social Media for week. I guarantee you'll start to feel better. In fact, take your battery powered MPC LIVE outside and make music on wood table, surrounded by plants.

On that note, I'm off! Time to hit the Dig spots!

Yeah, plants are better then humans for sure.
You cannot do that with One.
NO BATTERY.
And here we go again.
This thread will never be over.

I said. "I really like this machine. I don't mind the pads being smaller, Ima do my thang on it regardless."

I didn't imply the pads on the One is as small as the Dr5 drum machine. I saud it as l wouldn't buy anything drum machine wise with pads that small.

We all can see the One pads are bigger than the Dr5.

I don't like the force pads to finger drum my drums with.

CharlesRandolph wrote:They're not Boss Dr-5 small in no way, shape, or form. Those buttons were trash, they would get stuck under the chassis. All AKAI PRO did was cut down the parts of the pad, that does not active the sensor. Visually they are smaller but physically, you're striking in the same place.

I was in agreement with you. Concerning the Boss Dr-5.

Perhaps I should've typed. You're right, they're not Boss Dr-5 small in no way, shape, or form. Those buttons were trashhhhhhhh, they would get stuck under the chassis. (Ohh the nightmares)

Have you tried the typing finger drumming technique. I don't know if it called that, but that's what it looks like. It's basically typing.

Cockdiesel wrote:Did you have the mic set up right inside the box?
Edit you said stand... that’s your problem. Enclose the rest of the stand with wood making a box, plug your mic in, and put it inside the box.

That's a good point. See, the wood I sourced was a cheaper gender neutral type that was treated to remove any toxic masculinity pheromones but unfortunately this didn't help with the issues I'm having with the MPC One.

I thought about purchasing one of those motorized adjustable desk but when I looked into it further, I found that the oil used for the bearing was illegally sourced from Syria. It's all so tiresome.

It must be hard living in a place with great weather year round, great food and no fat women.

Some plants can be a real A-hole. Don't believe me. Plant a olive tree in your yard. It will kill everything around it. Wait, you're from Italy you know about olive trees. (Serious question.) recommend some great Italian recording artist.

Really, don't tell my portable battery pack that. I know carrying around 2 pounds is back breaking.

Seriously, people are freaking out in Italy.
Rage and unkindness everywhere.
Just relax, get an Mpc and stop with no sense, I'd like to say.
