But this unify joint is easier and its Oooohhhweeeee Dam this is creamy delicious dope!

CharlesRandolph wrote:Not sure about the offline installations mode, I have it's installed on iMAC that only connects online for updating. This will be the computer that is paired with the MPC one.

I may be out of Step...but I can Layer ALL my VST Plug-ins, in FL Studio. And be able to control them with the "Midi Out" Controllers, set to the Appropiate Channels. That ability has been around for at least a Decade.

I would think any DAW should have that ability...Maybe im wrong

Monotremata wrote:Do alot of folks actually use the volume knob?? I treat it like the rest of my synths. Volume stays at 10, if its too loud, the channel gets turned down in the MPC. But I also use a mixer too. The MPC has an advantage over synths though in that you CAN calibrate it just like my MOTU interface. Turn the master volume all the way up. Run a 0db sine wave through it, set the mixers input gain appropriately. If it ever starts blowing up, turn down that channel in the MPC itself cause its too loud.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they do. I'll calibrate based off the order it will be in my chain. I'll calibrate the inputs and outputs to -6 db this leaves plenty of head room.

I always reach for the volume pot in travel mode. So if I’m sitting in my car, or using it in the living room or something it’s just headphones and the Live and nothing else.

So you are usually blind reaching to adjust the master volume. It should be on top like most numark Mpcs.

UNIFY Is different in cost, VIP 3 us $99, Unify is $59 .
VIP 3.0 only handles AIR INSTRUMENTS in 8 layers, whereas Unify handles/Layers Pluginguru's presets, free 3rd party plugins and VST plugins i.e. Serum, Omnisphere , Heatup 3 etc.
Unify doesn't use a dongle, you get your serial key put it in and go and it handles offline activation. Plus Pluginguru will add new presets and other 3rd Party devs.

No you're right. But l don't have FL studio.

You can layer in any DAW but try layering 6 different sounds of Omnisphere and your computer specs is not at a higher recommended spec the CPU will crash. Whereas you have one instance of Unify with 6 Omnisphere layers that wont kill your CPU. Plus this dam thing sounds amazing and the layering gels well.

I know Blue Cat Audio Patchworks, operates as a plug in and in standalone. Which is how I will use it with the MPC one.

Unify operates as a standalone and plugin. Im just into Pluginguru and his sound designing techniques.

Use your tool of choice to get to your destination.

U right...But if Omnisphere is Multitimbural, you would only need one Instance of Omnisphere, controlled by 6 different FL Midi controllers.

Hopefully Omnisphere is Multitimbural
