Update 2.7.2 - not the big improvement

Update includes not the most wanted fixes - again. Support of the One more important?

Surprised they haven't addressed the 'dead' controller mode issue for some Mac users, I believe that was nothing more than the installer accidentally deleting the required driver.

Fixing MIDI should be number ONE priority. I have 4 MIDI inputs, and can't use one properly!? Absurd!

Every program type should have a MIDI IN setup so that it responds to certain channel or midi port (and also continues playing in background when switching tracks). HOW HARD IS THAT!? We are waiting for basic function for 3 freakin' years, and in the meantime they direct their resources to implementing stupid Splice integration, and making a 2000 euro standalone machine into Ableton controller... That's insane!

I guess now MPC One has the Network MIDI thing, Ableton Control will probably be added in 2.8

You mean 4 MIDI Outputs. If not, how are you getting the additional 2 Midi inputs?

I still don't get it, mine has worked fine on Mojave. I think once I was unable to get the software to see the Live, but that same day something was up with my Mac because the Network MIDI port was completely dead as well. Reboot and it popped right back up. Im kinda scared to update haha.

EDIT: Anybody else find the actual firmware update? Mine are all downloading 2.7 still but the MPC software download was 2.7.2??

Yep, only MPC Software 2.7.2 in my account, I don't have any MPC firmware files there. The Live product page firmware download is still 2.7. Release notes definitely mention there's a firmware update though. How very Akai-like

I saw a 2.7.2 firmware update for the Live in my Akai account yesterday, but now it's gone. Didn't have a chance to download it.

Yeah, thats why i was asking. In the release notes they mention it. I was hoping maybe for tighter midi. or midi out via usb finally.
