Insert a measure and erase midi data

Hi.

Is it possible to insert a measure directly in front of a track?

I use the MPC Live for backing tracks and click track for the drums. The metronome is used for the click track. I use quite some midi files, but directly in the first measure is midi data. The drummer needs 2 measures only click track to het the beat. So is it possible to insert a “empty” measure in front of the midi file?

A second question is about the volume settings of each track in a midi file. In the midi data is at the beginning of the sequence a message for all the volume settings of each track. Also when I change the volume of each track, when the sequence is played the volume settings jump back to the original ones. Is it on the MPC possible to delete the midi data in the files that takes care of the volumes?

why not create a separate empty 2 bar sequence and play that in front of the other (with next sequence orso)

you can delete all MIDI automation data with one click on the menu or separably in the list edit
