How about this.

There is a Kick, Snare, Hat, Bass sample in this folder. Everyone take it and create a track. They can only use those 4 sounds and effects. No other Sound, Instruments, VST or Sample Sets allowed. Let's see what people can create from it. They have until 8 PM PT, 11PM ET, 4 AM UTC (2/4/2020) to turn it in. (The style is ELECTRO FUNK) . This is how submissions in the industry works.

I like this concept.. some motivated individual should run with it!
(Mpc-arena.com domain is available btw.)

Samples should be chosen at random, and winners chosen by vote. Also need more time... People who punch a clock should get a chance to compete.

Yes, but you know the world doesn't work like that. If they want it, they have to make it happen. There are no excuses, either do it or don't. The test is about getting it done, when opportunity knocks. But the thing about opportunity, it's never convenient.

Are you mixing from the conductor view point or the musicians? (Specifically the drummers.)

Much of my music starts on the MPC, but rarely does it finish there. Just not enough tools in that toolbox. Satisfied was about 40% MPC Live, but then I switched to a live drummer and guitarist. Purpose was about 70% MPC. Sunrise was 100% MPC though.

A little bit of both.

Your staging is always on point. I enjoy your sense of space, which allows the texture of each instrument to stand out. All while working with each other, to create unique harmonies. It takes a lot of restraint to achieve that simple, yet complex kind of dynamics.

Thank you man! I appreciate that! I had a couple really talented mentors that smacked me enough times whenever I said the equivalent of "more cowbell" LOL. So I learned restraint through reprimand and humility.
