faulty button on the mpc x

somebody else experience dropouts/strange behaviour on the "main" button?

my "main" button on my mpc x has dropouts and does not trigger sometimes. then i have to push it 2-3 times in a row to get to the desired menu (main). i don't add too much pressure when im pressing the button. didn't had that kind of problem on the mpc live. recently it worked just fine, but today it startet getting weird again.

i had it on 2.6 and now on 2.7.2.

You may have been Beatin on that Main Button a lil too much lol

i'm very gentle with my mpc.
reminds me of my days with the 2500 – faulty buttons all over the place.

are you rockin the mpc x? the buttons are almost flat to the faceplate. i always felt it was a little bit strange.

Yes im on Both! The X does feel like it has a Different Tactile Switch underneath. Who knows...you may have received a Refurbished new X. I took my X apart and Whew!!!! They're a B*tch to get to.

I had this for a bit. I used some deoxit once or twice or whatever, but honestly mine just worked itself out. Ive had mine for 3 years and even my qlinks acted up on and off for a year and now it works better than ever... I feel they had to be warn in. As far as the Main button goes I feel like its probably just a bit of dust.
