So you're going to bypass the fact, that a battery has not been placed on any other device, Akai Pro has made after the MPC LIVE?

As long as the DJ Mixer Phono Pre is better than, the one inside the MPC. From my usage, it is. It also allow for more control over the Turntable signal. EQ, Other Sources, Different Effects, Lower Noise floor, etc.

So you're suggesting an MPC X, at 12.57 pounds and no battery, is just as "portable" as an MPC Live at 5.5 pounds with battery? Just asking.

I mean, by that logic - all music gear is portable.

And also a 48 track mixer of the 70s is portable, you can just use a big van to carry it everywhere you like.
So why not X?
Mr. lampdog and mr. Randolph argue that if you have a car and a healthy body, you can carry it everywhere but unfortunately it doesn't have a battery.
