This is a gear specific community - we are all here because of some sort of attraction to the MPC platform(s), we are thus more passionate about it than - at least in my case people that we personally know. So when people post what they have (again not even talking just here) - its not necessarily to prove something, its because they think they found a group of people who actually appreciate what it is.


I purposely avoid posting my setup because I don't want to give off the vibe you mentioned, but please believe, there are times I want to (not just here), just because there are people who would understand what I've done to get to where I am, or notice things that I've done to solve problem(s), etc. When I say Mix-400, most people here know EXACTLY what I am talking about while my wife will give me the "What you talkin bout Willis" look.
