That's a good case - accommodates the Decksaver as well. I've been considering this Unison case, as usually I just put my Live in my 22" carry on with my clothes:

But that Magma case makes more sense for flights. I'm just looking to carry mine regularly to my friend's studio and around town.

I just got my MPC One. So far loving it. I am using YouTube videos to learn, etc. One issue is Midi Controllers not being recognized on start up.

This seems to be an issue for years on the MPC line of products? Basically, you need to unplug and then plug back in the Midi Controller for the MPC Midi ports to work.

This appears to be only when in MPC standalone mode, with a USB Midi Controller that relies on USB for power (so no AC plug power).

It seems like an old bug that AKAI is not fixing. This is disappointing. Rest is great

This depends on your use case. Personally, out of every MPC, I've owned the MPC 4000 works for me. It's by far the most Pro Audio MPC every made so far. It's was built for the professional sound engineer in mind. SMPTE, WORD CLOCK, Full Fledged Sampler, DIGITAL I/O, MIDI, ANALOGE I/0, ADAT I/O, Dual Footswitch, 24/96, XLR and 1/4 outs, Low Midi Jitter, etc. Hard to believe it was made in 2002.

Akai has not released, anything even close to it since. This is why I returned the MPC X. These new MPC are centered around, computer software techs and less the audio engineer. This is why the MPC ONE, LIVE, X to me are really the same.
And I don't get it other than folks saying InMusic only had the 5000 and not the 4000 to build on. Maybe MK2s will get closer.

I only had a 4000 on an extended loan way back, but I keep a Z4 around in case the need arises. Currently, my needs are covered by the Live though.

Anybody hesitating on the magma live case, don’t. I’ve traveled all over the country by plane , car, bus, etc for work and touring and my live is in great condition. (I’ve managed to wear off the rubber coating though on parts of it but I’ve had it since first week of release). I’ve dropped it several times in that case and every time thought I was going to open it up and find a broken screen lol

Yeah it's the same on Mpc Live, I have same issues since two years.
The funny thing is that I use an Akai Lpk25.
So they don't even know how to make their own products perfectly compatible.
I have to unplug it and plug it everytime I switch it on.
I wonder how much time will this usb port work after this endless plug unplug.

The MKII Live or the X? I would love to see them take a couple steps back, so they could really move forward towards a Pro Audio world.

So this is why you get a One?
You complain about X and Live and then get a One?
Didn't you realize it's the same device in different formats?
You look confused, man.

Confused? You're reading a 2 sentence reply and not following the full conversation. Also, I don't complain, if the machine doesn't work for what I need, at that moment. It goes back.

Actually I read all the conversation and your opinions change day by day.
Is it because of the weather in your country?

All I can say is, read it again and try to understand the perspective. Please show me where my opinion is changing day by day.
