are we a dying breed? 3k section thread count is dysmal compared to other sections...

i can see why though, i used a 1000 last night and just editing your parameters/filters is a b!tch. 3000 and 60 are simple as fuc to use.

It was the design mentality, the 2k and up were more for people who could just afford that and maybe some headphones, but the 60 and 3000 were designed for pro studios with a ton of gear, so the sequencer had to be fairly transparent, cuz ease of use would make it popular, and it did.

Not that 2k's are that hard, but you feel the rounded corners in the design (SHIFT!!!) where as the 60 and 3000 pretty much have square corners. Well, maybe not the sampler sections.

so there is a smaller threadcount. The crap to quality ratio is in our favor!!

I love my 3000, I've owned two 2000xl's and I will NEVER leave my 3000. I've never used a simpler piece of equipment. 3000= the definition of user friendly. But 3000's are expensive compared to other sampler/drum machines on the market, I bought mine for $1300.

haha, ya true. The simplicity of the 60 is so dope, I move fast on that thing. I love editing on it.
