Saving for 3000 or 4000?

MPC 3000's cost between $2000 to $4000 US. This information gives him power, before spending that kind of money. Ultimately it's up to the OP, but I rather people be straight up and give me the facts and the true running cost.

Also this is why he made the post, to get opinions of people already doing it. I say if he want it, pull the trigger and get it. In the real world, people are charged for this kind of detailed information. Also that's why people pay, $65 dollars for an MPC 3000 Rotary Encoder, because they don't know where to get it for $15.

Ask Richie, he'll clown him, but 99% of what he talks about is spot on. Even if Richie wear fake Rolex's and Drink from Gold cups.

I think either a cheap 2k with cf or a good condition 4k with working USB is what I'm leaning towards, but I'm certainly open to the new machines now whereas before I absolutely wasn't. It's just them bright screens and lights remind me too much of my time spent on my CS coursework. Lol

Most of the SPs I know are a lot closer to toys than the MPCs so you might be a little disappointed if you get an older MPC and expect a toy feeling lol.

Why would I do that when I love my 4k and 2kxlSE2?
If I had nothing and were looking to do it all over I’d choose X, Live or One.

@op, 4k may or may not have an effects card in it, make sure to check.

4k may or may not have analog 8out, coax spdif digital out, digital 8out cards in it, make
