Naw, I’ve gone back and forth with fresh on this. I’m not anti behringer by any means but also not one of these raving fans either. I stranded my opinion and moved on.

There’s nothing wrong with criticizing ones actions especially when they are acting unprofessional but I think there needs to be a line drawn with how much we base our emotions on it,too.

I mean the writers videos were pretty childish in themselves, however behringer should have been the better man and kept it moving.

Expect more of this until people start getting railroaded out of jobs, and actually start fighting back on this nonsense. It becomes worse when those people are speaking truth to power. Something to be applauded, not shut down.

They are making everyone in society that nit picky girlfriend you couldn’t wait to dump...

Can’t knock behringer for their marketing hustle, only point out flaws in stuff like this. People shouldn’t get all that worked up about this much less accuse someone of hating a whole race of people... FFS

I wonder how many people this outrage culture are holding back from artistic greatness. I mean I don’t think Dave Chappell, Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, and George Carlin would be nearly as successful in this age. People losing your chit and dog whistling for every other social justice warrior to dog pile on, attack or boycott you.

I don't know, man. I don't wanna enter into the details, one will have a version, the other another version.
But for me that's too much. Acting like you don't give a **** about anything, and you are a CEO.
Come on.
Also he put private emails of another man on a forum, I don't wanna know why he made it, it's just a bad action.
If CEO or private manufacturers start to fight on forums, what the hell is that?
And also this thread looked more like a supporting more then a discussion about gears on a forum.

You mean the email exchange between Devilfish and Uli, which he posted to expose Devilfish for lying about the entire situation?

How are you going to be mad a Uli for bringing the receipts in defense of himself and his reputation which was being slandered?

Behringer is not starting any fights, they are being picked on by particular parties who are using wilfully ignorant haters to shape a negative opinion. Peter Kirn has been attacking Behringer for 20 years on the internet.

Come on man you're defending the actual bad guys here...

On the positive side, the development of the RD-9 (09) is coming along very nicely!!!

You are totally crazy, man.
What you are doing is clearly supporting this brand on this forum, defending what cannot be defended and that's it.
And I am gonna get out of this forum and delete my account.
Good luck and bye bye

That's not a thread, it's plain marketing.
So this forum is not for me.

There's no reason to put a marketing thread of another company on Akai forum.
Discussion is ok.
But that's not discussion.
Easy.

Fortunately mpc-forums.com has multiple forums... so as long as content stays in the forums it belongs... and threads don't go rampant... we can all get the content we enjoy and given the size of this thread... other people are discussing the content in this thread...

Personally though, even if I could care less about a product or manufacturer, I am glad that this forum has a place to talk about other stuff... I've seen it devolve too many times in other sites to "we are <x>, you cannot discuss <y> because it is not <x> here"...

When I first saw your protest, I was expecting it to be referring to the anti-semitic mem that Behringer put out. I was like yeah, I get why this guy is pissed. But, to be mad about simple brand marketing in a groovebox forum is a little strange.

I said discussion is ok.
But read all the threads and then this.
It's just marketing.
All the arguments twisted to defend the manufacturer.
They put posts about a quarrel to put the manufacturer in a good light.
They support their products and talk badly about the other brands.
Just read it carefully.
That should not be allowed.
And if it's allowed, I am on the wrong forum.

My real beef with their clones is that they are just analog clones. They don't really add any functionality. If they added the ability to control parameters via Midi CC to these clones, they would be game changers. Otherwise, the current range of clones have both hardware clone and software clone counterparts that do the job just as well and sometimes better.
