Hi! My name is Gastón, im from Argentina, sorry for not showing up in the last post. I am newby in the MPC World, and i am one of the only ones user of the MPC. As you know, there are a lot of videos and tutorials for use this beatiful machine but, nothingi in Spanish, for this reason, is very difficult to me, learning absolute all in english.
So, here is my question

I need record some vocals and electric guitars to make a sample. I have a Shure sm57, thats is for me, the best way to record guitars and vocals to.
I think i could connect the sm57 into my "YAMAHA MG 124cx" mixer (i use this mixer for shows) and connect the out of the mixer to the "in" on the mpc. But i try differents ways and my MPC don´t receive signal.
The mixer receive the signal because i can see it, but i can not transfer the signal of the mixer to my MPC live.

Thank you very much, sorry for my poor English, i am learning ! :)

Hi, here is how I would do it

Connections:
Microphone -> Mixer MicInput Channel1
Live Output 1/2 -> Mixer Channel 5/6

Mixer Aux -> Live Input 1 (the switch on beside the inputs need to be set to LINE)
Mixer Stereo Out -> Speaker

Now turn up the AUX SEND knob (it's beside the LED Meter) to something like 8 (there is a small arrow).
On channel 1 press the button PRE and turn up the AUX (again to the arrow)
Go to the recording/sampling menu of the live and watch the meter.
Can you see the signal in the MPC now?
peace

Thank you very much! I could record (in mono) a sample with my vocals. But the problem persists, when i go to audio -----> imput configuration, i can´t see the signal. I mean, the MPC dont picks up signal on "track mode"
