Please help.I just upgraded from 2.6 to 2.7.2. The USB firmware upgrade. The mpc recognised the 2.7.2 update and I followed the update procedure. After 2 sec. that the update began the mpc shut down from it self. After that it's like dead. Have waited for 10 min. thinking that it's the update procedure, but not. Now I can't power it On. It realy like dead. What happened ?

After that yesterday have tried some times to Power on the Mpc, I left it .After I left the unit for all night, this morning the first thing that I have do it's to unmount the internal HD that I use.The unit is powered on and everything works.Have tried to update again with the USB and the update is successful. The MPC firmware 2.7.2 installed. In reality I have a bug in the unit that I have thinked is a firmware problem, but after the update the problem don't disappear. It seems is more hardware problem, bad RAM or don't know.Have written for the problem in some post time ago. The bug consist in stand alone changing / activating pads.In Grid mode are visible the change movemends from A1 to....A4....If the MPC is in Clip mode activating pad in which are sample the MPC begin to play from its alone. The most annoying thing it's that playing in live situation in Pad Mixer Mode the Pads begin to Unmute from it self.Adding samples in Browse Mode pressing the Pad 1 to add sample it loads to Pad 5 without to touch nothing.Recording Midi in Grid mode is the same. From its own its changing A1 - A7-A5.With the new update the problem consist and really don't know. Maybe the Mpc is with some factory bug. Have made video with the problem when I thinked is 2.6. firmware problem.
Thanks.

I asked this question while I was on 2.6 and didn't hear back and it's now bothering me after just upgrading to 2.7.2 I just want to know if it's the same for everyone.

My Q-link lights are working back to front, or upside down. i.e the left light now represents the bottom row in the q-link menu. It used to represent the top row. I hoped upgrading to 2.7 would right this, but it hasn't.

...is everyone else's like that?

Can you take a picture and point out what you think is wrong or where you expect things to be swapped?

Yes, all the Q links are: Bottom = first light and Top = 4 light.

NearTao, I never figured out how to add photos on here… (should really do that). On the Live (Danoc, yup) you have the four red lights under the Q-link button. Lets say the left light is no.1. Right light is no.4.

My Live has always worked so that light number 1 related to the top row of the Q-link menu. Light number 2 was second row down. Light number 3 is third row down… light 4 is bottom row. When I went to version 2.6, that all reversed and light number 1 became the bottom row, and so on…. Hope that makes sense.

CharlesRandolph…. thanks, I guess it’s like that now. Did yours switch around at v2.6 or am I seeing things?

Thanks guys

Right now :
1. First QLink (left to right) light covers row one.
2. Second Q light covers row 2.
3. Third Q light covers row three.
4. Fourth Q light covers row four.

You can tap on individual tabs and use eitherthe data wheel or your four QLink knobs to edit. I prefer to use all four knobs.

My screen shot shows lm on the 4th row and so is my Q light is on its 4th light.
It works nicely.

Same here, however if you go to filter, you'll the see the first Q link light is on the bottom.

I don't remember, I didn't hold on to the live long enough. This is the 2.7.2 on the MPC ONE.

Alright, this is what I got... (so long as my attempt to post an image works)

This is with 2.7 and is the opposite of how it always used to be. For me it switched at 2.6

...sorry about the security watermarks on the images, i'm not a prolific poster of images and I was struggling even to get these up.

So for me l am working due to the C19, producers and artist wanna entertain people cause they are stuck in the house. I had 15 days off finishing my personal project  and geeting rest when l want. But dam got a bunch of music offers and now working. I want at least another 15 days. I tell you its like a curse and blessing at the same time. :hmmm:

So to setup drums to complex patterns quicly l have noticed 2.7.2 changed some thangs around. I have definitely noticed the touch screen has improved llike whoa!
Its dam near the quality of my cell phone screen. Loading drums quicker by just going to where the drums are on my usb, tap the pad ypu want that sound on, hit load and booom! There was another way we had to do it. I have used the live more now than ever. QLinks work very nice, yall already know sequencer is tight. :)
Anyone gettin the same vibe?
