Joking aside. I really really like the speaker on the Jupiter XM, for me just turning something on and just being able to play is really cool. Not sure how well that would translate to the mpc. I mean, I use my live the most with a Bluetooth speaker on aux and it gets the job done, but it’s also the fast track to laziness. Same with the speaker on my Jupiter but it’s just different. More like just flicking on an amp and jamming out on a guitar for a little bit type deal

I know people who direct mic the speakers and record a direct signal. Then mix them together for an interesting effect.

ULTRA PORTABLE BRO! When you at the park, jamming out you won't need to carry those heavy headphones. Get with the times. My 808 slides are going to sound crazy. This is a GAME CHANGER!

Possible effects wise like micing an amp, but come on...
Not sure. Because I find anything rhythmic or bass heavy is very untrue on these portable speakers. Fine for just playing around and jamming, but I just don’t think I would vibe with a speaker on the mpc vs the Jupiter. I guess that’s just me. Two different actions would be used from them . Not concerned with the minutia when I just want to mess with a synth for a half hour... I don’t do any real sound design on my Bose speaker or the Jupiter. Headphones mainly.

Mainly mic'ed and record for MID driven sounds. At this point we just have to wait and see, it could be FCC troll, to throw people off.

Im willing to buy if it has HDMI and mouse control. If it doesn't have that l won't buy it!

I won't let Akai sell me a machine with buttons rearranged, CV and a new price. CV don't mean jack to me.

:Sigh: Bro you really wanna mess with a mouse on that little ass screen?
I can see the hdmi because my eyes are shitting out on me and I’ll need that 80 inch display within 5 years here... but isn’t there some work around. Tutor could take screen shots of the thing, why can’t we mirror that in other ways?

:hmmm: Where did l say l want to mouse around on a "lil" azz screen? :Sigh: what you think the HDMI is for?
If they add HDMI l will get an Ultra thin curved 40" inch 4K touch screen monitor. Ain't nothing small about that. So dam str8 l want mouse control.

lying again danoc. Just admit it. You need a mouse to produce. You’re just getting old like me and need the big screen. The difference is I don’t need a mouse. That means I’m better. Lol

Try it your Jupiter XM, that's the essence of sound design. Capture any and all sounds and make is useful. Things like this will give you an unique sounds.
