I HOOKED UP MY EXTERNAL ZIP DRIVE IT RECOGNIZES THE DRIVE BUT WONT FORMAT THE DISK IT SAYS DISK READ ERROR! WHATS THE DEAL?

Is the Disk NEW? or OLD? It could be Buggered!

Also for some reason most peeps dont like capitals, its like a internet form of shouting for no reason...i thought u might want to know that.

format it on the PC instead as FAT format and se what its does then,
if it comes up with the same thing or it comes up with some craxy characters like "%^%&"%&%%&" <--- then them discs is buggerd! get them to send u some new ones!!

It could be so many things!
Its about trial and error for you i'm afraid.

Check the disks and zip drive in another pc
if you have a SCSI CD ROM hook it up to ya MPC to see it if works
you know stuff like that. troubleshoot the problem.
