Mpc X vocal tracking

I am finally going to upgrade from my Ren to the X. I have a simple question about multiple inputs in standalone and recording say an acoustic guitar and vocals at once. Almost like a Hard Disk. It's a simple side piece of my studio. Anyone else doing this?

Yes. I know it can be done but I've come across a strange issue when doing so it seems. When I am playing back from any point that is not bar 1 it seems the vocal tracks are not launching correctly or lining up. It's hard to explain but it's almost like the vocal tracks are not triggering properly. I had vox track 1, 2 and 3 and the all seemed "off". If the song is started from the first bar then everything is great. I'm not sure how to work around this, any help? Punch ins and vocal recording having to always start at bar 1 is a drag and isnt going to work. I cant find any info on this.

Dude you have to use audio tracks in song mode and track everything in like that trying to piecemeal stuff in is what’s giving youissues.

i understand that i have to use audio tracks. I convert the song to seq and then use that with audio tracks. In no way was I trying to sample or what not using midi trigs..
