Hey all,
We made an app that can batch create 16-pad kits out of any samples, OR convert your Maschine Libraries into kits, automatically. It is called Kit Maker.

http://www.kit-maker.com

VIDEO:

FEATURES
- For Mac AND PC
- Interactive GUI interface
- Create kits for a variety of DAWs
- Use Maschine libraries to create kit presets of all Maschine drum kits
- Or use ANY SAMPLES you want to create your own libraries and infinite kits
- Drag and rearrange pad layouts as you want; save your own custom layout
- Keep your same layout across all kits; use the same MIDI patterns across all your kits

Creates presets for:
Ableton Live 10
MPC Live, MPC One, MPC X and Akai Force Hardware.
MPC 2 Desktop software (and MPC Touch)
Beatmaker 3 iOS
NanoStudio 2 iOS

and a "Numbered Files" option so you can drag and drop ordered kit samples into:
iMPC 2 iOS
Reason Devices such as
Kong and Umpf Devices,
FL Studio’s Channel Rack Sequencer,
Logic X Pro Drum Machine Designer,
Groove Agent 5,
Geist2,
Bitwig Studio,
and more.

Hello,

That looks great. Thank you.

Is it possible to directly drag and drop a Battery 4 kit file or a Geist2 kit file into Kit Maker and automatically export a drumkit for MPC?

Other question: can we automatically create an MPC expansion based on a bunch of Battery 4 kits or Geist2 files? So that we could here previews when scrolling in the MPC browser.

To sum up: is there a chart that list all of the supported files, with two columns (import and export)?

Good idea. How many computers can the software be installed on?

It can be installed on 3 computers. Unfortunately it ties the license to each computer so it is best to not use them all up so you can have for future computers you use. However, if there is some understandable circumstance and you require an extra license, you can always contact us and we are reasonable ;)

Does it require online verification or do you have an offline verification process. Asking because none of our productions computers are connect to the internet.

Good question. It does require a connection, but only for the initial registration when you first load and enter your license number. After that it does not require it. If you can connect via a mobile hotspot that should be enough to license it.

This is really nice to have. I see CharlesRandolph is asking about offline activation lol
Can l down load it on my laptop then take it over to my OFFLINE computer with your license and use it on my offline computer?
How much is it? Do you support Mac and PC?
Thanks

Can anyone clarify the generic library folder? The pre-made category folders are missing toms and cymbals. Can categories be added or does everything else go in misc?

In the vid, it's said that "Kit Maker will later use these samples to organize into kits". Is this done randomly? Will it grab random kicks, snares, hats, etc and make kits based on the layout we create? If so, what's done with samples in the misc folder?

I do have some Maschine packs that came with my Komplete bundle, but I'm more interested in this generic folder and using my own samples.

@Bezo The categories to make your own libraries are 7 folders that will match up with the layout. You can use any samples you want. For instance, you can make your layout have snares on Pad 1 and Pad 2, put a bunch of duck quack sounds in the Snares folder, and Pad 1 and Pad 2 will end up having quack sounds when your kits are made.
For me, I usually just put the cymbals and toms in the Percussion folder. It depends on what sounds your sample library has available and how you want to lay things out.

@JB101 The kits are 16-pad kits
