Managed to get another track out today...on the lower tempo moody side of things. Starting 4th Week of Shelter-in-Place...and just trying to keep my heart and spirit aligned with the beauty of the universe and all that God has given us.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and are in good spirits. Peace, love and joy be with you all.

Here's a bit of head music for you while you focus on all the blessings and love in your life:

Which iPAD and iPAD adapter are you using, the One with a lighting or USB C? I'm not familiar with AUM - Audio Mixer, how many channels of does it allow for you to open?

Using iPad Pro circa 2018 with USB-C.
AUM is a great modular mixer which will support as many channels as your device can handle. I generally bus things around to a final mix down BUS. The routing on the app is great for internal and external gear.

Here's a great overview video of AUM. Totally worth it if the iPad is part of your workflow:

So if someone wanted to do what you doing, minus the software this is what they would need.

MPC ONE, LIVE, X.
iPAD Pro (2018)
USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
iConnectivity mio 1-in 1-out USB to MIDI

Well, you'd need something to Sequence all the synths...be it an iPad sequencer or an external hardware Sequencer (the MPC One in my case)...but yes, AUM would serve as your space to bring it all together and mix, fx, bus, and record it.

There are all in one solutions on iPad like BeatMaker 3, NanoStudio 2, Cubasis 3, GarageBand and other apps which are a more traditional approach...I just love the fluidity and flexibility of AUM since it allows me to do so much. It allows you to nicely blend hardware and software in a way that makes sense to each persons workflow.

Yeah, I meant to say minus the software. I use the iPAD PRO strictly as a sound source, using the SSL 2+ as the interface.
