Hi,

I want to route a Multichannel Drum Synth VST inside MPC. Just to be clear...the problem is not the MIDI Channel routing...;) I´m hassling with the Audio routing

The scenario:

Track 1: Kick
Track2 : Snare
Track3: HiHat

The Plugin is capable of 32 virtual audio outputs. If I leave Kick, Snare and HiHat on the VST Master Output I can hear every single sound. But if I (and thats what I want to do) set Kick to Output 1, Snare to Output 2, HiHat to Output 3 I can hear nothing!!!

Is this possible with MPC Software?

Nope, as of now, multi-output instruments are not supported. This is due to the architecture via program outputs.

In drum or keygroup plugins, you can route different pads to a submix (1-8, all stereo) via the pad mixer. This is not applicable to plugins, though.

If you still would want to use these festures, you could resample the drums into a new drum program and route them there.

Hope that helped!
