Hi everybody, I'm new here and in the world of samplers.
I would like to know if it is possible to connect two Akai MPC one via MIDI so one is the master and the other is the slave and thus have the possibility to have 32 pads to work with.
In this way I could for example have the verses on the master and the choruses on the slave to start at will and maybe let in and out with fade in and out of the mixer. The set up would be like in the image.
thanks in advance to those who want to help me!

A single MPC One has 8 banks of 16 pads. That's 128 different pads that can each have their own sample data (including time sync'd audio clips). If you can't fit an entire song on a single MPC One, then you're doing it wrong, IMHO.

Okay, I get it. and how many projects can be created in a single mpc with 8 banks full of samples?

A single project can only be opened one at a time. That said, a single project can contain up to 128 sequences, and each sequence can contain up to 128 tracks. In song mode, you can assemble all of these sequences/tracks into one long "song" if you want, or have multiple "songs" each containing their own collection of sequences/tracks. You can create a total of 32 songs in each Project.

Two MPC ONE'S are fine if you want to 32 PAD to finger drum. Or if you want to use them, like two turntables with a mixer in between. However for the 32 PAD, look to buy another midi drum pad controller.

Okay, so in my case, one mpc one would be fine.

How many projects can be done in a single mpc one?
