 Debate tiiiiiiiimmmeeee!
Yo Luna is in 1.0 sumtin right? S1v4 is 4.6 :hmmm: just vause people talking don't mean its going to be industry standard. You know how producers love shinny new toys!

Let me know when luna can do this! Circle of fifths, you know what dat do right? Luna is no where near this technology. Its just another Protools repackaged!
I am never doing that Avid crap where you are forced to have hardware! Hell no!
Image

S1v4 has its on MASTERING section! It does redbook too! Tell me Luna has lufs et. Luna can update the loudness of your mix how even or loud it is?
Plus it has a dedicated single mixing fader, 8 and 16! Luna has that? call me when Luna is on the same level!

I strongly don't agree, I own both Reason and Studio One, as well as Logic X Pro, FL Studio, and Pro Tools. I've been Mixing with Studio One for a few years and you're right about the headroom and its quality over Reason and other DAWs, but it's not in any shape or form f u c king with LUNA, not even close.

I love mixing with Studio One, it's my immediate goto, but I'm telling you, man, LUNA is a much different animal, I stand by predicting it will become the new standard.

Well considering STUDIO ONE came from KRISTAL Audio Engine (2004) and those guys worked for Steinberg doing Nuendo and Cubase. Basically, S1 has been around for 16 years and it was Cubase knock off. You have to give LUNA time to be developed. It just hit the public, 2 days ago.

Cubase is still one of the top Software DAWS on the market. While costing twice the price of Studio One.

:Sigh: Why are you trying to kill me? :WTF:

Dude, if you got a Mac and an Apollo system I implore you to try LUNA out for yourself.

All that extra sh!t you're doing to try and prove your opinion on Studio One is null and void.

I'm talking about a specific thing here and that is QUALITY of LUNA's audio verses DAWs like Studio One which I own and been mixing with for years. Just like you, I've invested my money in Studio One, but I refused to be biased because of that investment.

Studio One by far is a superior DAW as far as feature set goes, but the audio quality of LUNA's sound is hands down superior.

You can discuss the Nyquist theorem to death if you want to, but that doesn't change what myself and many others who are testing this thing out with our own ears are voicing.

This is a very different product that is not like Studio One or Pro Tools or any of the DAWs you want to list, this is a gamechanger. You have to check it out for yourself to understand.

If you got a friend with an Apollo system go to their studio and test it out for yourself.

Stop trying to kill people and have an open mind...

Dude l was joking, smh.

Now let me ask you, what makes you think l haven't heard and messed with Luna? Why do you keep telling me to give it a try? I already heard it. Played with it. Man it has mostly all the commands of Protools. Are you telling me it doesn't? If you're so familiar with it you would know that.
Sound quality wise maybe you need to give the credit to the Apollo.
UAD makes both so of course its going to have a thingand tweaked a certain way and color on it and you immediately think its so ssuperior in quality.
It would be like me saying S1v4 when used with Presonus interface sounds better than anything out there.

S1v4 has great quality and functions that l would never trade for Luna.
If you're going on just quality which you are then you're bugging. You didn't even answer my questions.
You keep saying YOU AND OTHERS say its doper than this and that. AGAIN ITS A NEW TOY! That's what happens bro. It sounds a lil different don't make it better. Plus the persin on the end need to know how to use it that's the important thing.

CharlesRandolph don't you start with that tricks and gimmicks crap lol lm not going to be checking for fir luna in the future. Its cool and what not but all this super superior crap is bullish! Whoever likes it its ok, have fun.

But hits will come out of Reason, PT , Reaper, Bitwig, S1v4 etc and maybe Luna, its all to do with the end user.

Im not in the business of getting and interface, Mac and a new DAW. Im not going to jump to another DAW cause its new. I deal with 3 DAWs and you know what they are!

If a person relies just on sound quality they are buggin. I want quality and functions.
Its free now let but the extensions and instruments is hella costly.

I'm just saying to give it time to develop. I don't over hype stuff, it's a good start and works great for straight mixing, without all the software DAW tricks.

You know all these tricks. They'll say, I add this reverb, eq, invert the sounds, resampled it, passed it though an amp, side chained it, and put a limiter on it. Now, it has that British 1970 rock sound. Then you listen to it and all you hear is blips and blops.

If you don't have a MAC there or UA it's no reason to get it, unless it's for continued education. It's important to stay current, even if the person doesn't use it. This is move is too big, to not check it out.

Man you are crazy lol

See l can get quality without all the extra crap. I can put my music to the test, cause l have music to show coming out of S1v4 and Reason

Yes, I prefer honest music without all the studio magic trick. With the way LUNA is setup, it's leans toward classic tracking and mixing.
