Mann....I'm not checking for no, Ovox Synthesis thing. Hey man, you bought HD 600 which are $300 to $400 USD. Don't start have semi-expensive taste and then settle for a $10 dollar head phone amp. Take your cans and MPC LIVE and demo that headphone amp.

Luna topic - I did a mix this weekend in Luna. Cool to use. More mature than most software that's released. Doesn't do a lot yet though. But wouldn't be switching, because there's not enough compelling. Maybe one day there will be.

They need to find an identity. They market as "not a DAW", but trying to do DAW things, which is nonsense. Saying it's free is marginally a low integrity move, because the key selling points are not free. They need to either a) make the exclusive plugs free and keep them locked to the LUNA ecosystem, or b) allow them to be used outside of LUNA as well, and charge for them like they do. $300 for a plugin that I can only use in Luna? Not a good investment IMO. It'd be different if Luna was mature and could replace a person's main DAW. But at V1? Nah.

Their marketing wordplay is concerning, and honestly reminds me of Akai's bull. "Built-in", across the world, generally means that it's something included that you can use, yet they are trying to redefine it as, "it's there, but you have to pay to unlock it". Calling the plugin "Neve summing" is misleading, because it's just adding Neve-emulated coloring to the signal. All DAWs do summing by the very nature of summing signals to a stereo out. I can't imagine they have a long-term exclusive license to say "Neve summing". Expect Waves and others to release a Neve summing plug - once the UAD exclusivity lapses. 6 months - maybe a year?

With those thoughts... I'll say it's a nice piece of software. From a design and architecture perspective it's much more palatable to me than the MPC software (which I don't use btw, because it's just not that good IMO). It's a great foundation. But these hiccups are going to severely diminish their adoption. They need to sort it out, which they will I'm sure.

And finally, Cupid's Bow released last week. Currently #4 on the UK Global Soul Chart and #13 on the Breaking Artists chart. Who here has bought it? LOL @Danoc - cmon bro. You KNEW it was coming. LOL Who else is releasing music during the lock down???? @Lamp, as always, if I'm overstepping bounds by promoting a release, please move, or let me know.
