Cool idea. It would be great if you could create a kit using up to all 8 banks versus just 1. And more generic folder options.

Why should I use this instead of the free bluebox? In fact there are couple other free ones as well.

I don't have a "Mac" so bluebird wouldn't work for me. Not sure of any others. This one seems pretty straightforward. I hope they expand on it. Like an import to kit option for the SP404SX or Op-z

@JeriKo Jackson This creates .xpm files for the MPC X, MPC Live, MPC One and Akai Force. I believe the software you are talking about is for older MPC units.

This is converting Maschine kits to mpc kits automatically.

Kit maker will not work for me. Does not create anything. Uninstalled, reinstalled, tried different output formats, nothing.
I’m starting to think it’s a waste of money. Sorry. Was very excited for this and $30

I also copped today. I own nearly every Maschine expansion, so this is fresh

I’m on a mac, the user experience was about as painless and easy as I could have ever hoped for. I also love that you can select a bunch of folders to convert in one go.

Excited to use it with Beatmaker, too.

Worked fine for me yesterday, converted two Maschine kits over.

I’m on a Mac computer. I had a lot of old maschine kits and other samples that made making kits a snap.

Works great only on maschine expansions.. I have no clue why they say komplete.. none seem to work on ..also I cannot figure out how to fix 3rd party maschine to be converted to .xpm files.. lastly the generic kit maker is bogus not sure this is even available.. it doesn't make a program group just dumps into folders you basically seperate. If you have a large maschine library and do not want to use there vst in your daw and have to route just to use maschine kits. Then kitmaker is the way to go.. hopefully they can fix the 3rd party expansion xonveraion..

What's going on, fellas! I'm an old school MPC user from the late 90's and I jumped ship when Maschine 1.5 dropped w/ the vintage modes. I got a Live a couple months ago and it's just been sitting around since I've gotten used to using Maschine (and have been using it regularly for about 10 years) .

With this quarantine sh!t I told myself I was really going to put in the time to learn the Live. So I set it up and then the idea of having to recreate all my "go to" Maschine kits seemed like a nightmare. I remembered the forum and know that there's extremely crafty folks on here who are always coming up w/ workarounds and I'm glad I did cause of this post. This program is a game changer for anyone trying to go from Maschine to an MPC feeling daunted with the task of getting all of their kits back together. I'm already starting to look around for an X .
