Didn't Andy Mac(?) confirm it was coming, in the SonicState video?

I know when he was pushed at the actual show, he (begrudgingly) confirmed the drum synth was coming.

Being new to Akai, I wouldn't know if this would be something that is normal, whether he just says what people want to hear, or if there's any truth in what he's saying.

Yo Charles, I got my new toy. Roland XV 5080 VST Plugin. It has all the sounds from the real version and it sounds just like the hardware. DAmmmmmmmmmm I'm loving life right now
Now all I need is that Triton VST and I am set. Ima run this through Unity Charles and go bananas!

Ima chop up some sounds and put them in the MPC Live like I use to do in the 2000XL and make some bangers. This is going to be so cool. Sample some vox vocals and put them in my songs, put it right on the MPC and export it out and go! ITS GO TIME YO!

Yo its not for Reason its a VSTi its for any DAW. Works on PC ONLY!!!! I just so happen to open it up in Reason to see if it works. No ilok, dongle etc. Its going on my laptop too.

Yeah man l been choppin some sounds msking sure they are dumb clean and finishing up my projects. Plus some offers came my way gotta look into them.
Its like going back to 2008. I can't believe l have a Roland 5080 in my computer

Also curious about the XV @Danoc. I still got a JV1080... But i like it a lot actually

one of the main AKAI dev's told me just now on twitter something exciting is coming, but didn't disclosure any more

I wish it be something like Pong on the touchscreen. Just like on the 1k jjos. I enjoyed meself hours on that.

But i have the gut feeling it's the drum plugin

Roland 3080. I had both hardware 1080 and 3080.
I would love to get a 3080 in software.
