BUG: MPC One Pitchbend malfunction

Situation:
- MPC One is hooked up to a µKorg via MIDI IN/OUT.
- MPC One triggers µKorg sounds via Midi-Program
- µKorg "local" is "off"
- µKorg can be used as Masterkeyboard or external Synth with no problem, except for the following issue.

Bug:
- Whilst µKorg is used as an external instrument via midi, using the pitchwheel will pitch down the entire synthpatch one semitone. This will happen permanently - not sporadically.

The pitchwheel is therefore only usable as intended, when controlling MPC-internal instruments.
Searching the web, this bug seems to have been present in the MPC LIve, the FORCE, probably the X and now also the ONE. Traces go back to 2017. Is AKAI really serious about this or am i missing something utterly essential?

i feel like i just bought a car which was praised in about every review i could find pre-purchase, but nobody noticed or at least mentioned that the steering wheel would always turn hard right by itself as soon as you have an occupied passenger seat?

I'm not fully sure if i understand.. but from what I get; can't you just change the pitchbend range on your korg?

That's because they're not reviews at all. How can they review a machine, without really putting it through it's paces with in real world scenario. They list features, but do not talk about the machine in depth. Test every aspect of the machine, from the software to cv outs.

I seem to recall my MPCX having a similar issue with pitchbend not working properly in standalone mode when I first got it a couple of years back. A firmware revision eventually fixed it.

I cannot remember off hand, but this problem has existed in all kinds of devices. I think some of it has to do with pitch bend information not always being the same format from device to device. I may be wrong though...

So there is nothing which can be done to workaround the problem on the user side as it seems?

guess you have to buy another car with a working steering wheel mate

I guess I better return the faulty car beforehand though - somebody might get hurt.
