Batch Create MPC Kits from Samples & Maschine Libs:Kit Maker

Did anyone else get this app yet? I was just digging around in my old Maschine folder wondering if there was an easy way of making all the samples in there available on my Live, and I found this thing on youtube, but all the videos i've seen so far somehow seem a little weird...

Works fine for most people. I dropped Queensbridge story and a few other expansions into it with no issues. I want to do my entire expansion library, I have them all except the latest 2 new releases.

I may decide to add artwork via the Akai expansion builder but the standalone browser (live/X) makes it kind of pointless.

Hello Certified. The Maschine Library processing mode works on official Maschine/Komplete expansions and the Maschine factory library. 3rd party libraries are not supported in this mode. However, you can use Generic processing mode to process any samples you like. I didn't really understand your sentence, but it does create xpm programs for you. If you have the .wav samples from a 3rd party library, you can use the Generic mode to process them. Please see our video and check out our in depth manual on the website!

I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here but does anyone know of a similar program that converts your mv programs to a MPC format?

Is there a way to make kits from custom with more than 16 pads? I want to populate banks a-d (or more) with samples and I dont see an option to do that.

If not, can you add this in a future update?

I finally got Kitmaker to work, but it took a lot of prep so that the sounds would map to the right pads for my tastes. I sure hope they add more categories for fine-tuned control of where samples end up. The app had a hard time with some of my .wav files because the file extensions were spelled with some mixed formatting (initial capitalization for some reason). I guess it happens when you collect samples from all over the place. But I finally got it sorted and now I have some nicely randomized kits that sound great.

How are the WAV files named when you create an MPC program or export a numbered list of files? Is the original file name preserved, or are they renamed according to a system?

If you are a little bit familiar with coding you can do all the good stuff by yourself. Basically MPC stuff is in XML-Format. I do read it with matlab, convert it to a structure, do my Editing in Loops and convert my structure back to XML.
