How much more can we say? most of us already expressed how we felt about it and although I posted it, I'm also busy with client work while trying to finish my own project in time for Black Music Month.

Now let me ask you a question, what do you want out of the next update whatever it will be called?

I thought you guys would realize that some people come on here for some news and read about what may be. If I had any info on 2.8 I would have said something. Some people in here are in the know or know someone that has info on what to come. I come to read those info and to read other topics about bugs and feature requests.

I have no issue with discussing other things but there’s an easy way in this forum to create a new topic and talk about it. That’s all, I don’t usually post much in here as you can see, so my statement was just what it was, no need for extra.

Couple comments right after my post I did enjoy tho and made me  , and then there’s a couple comments coming from that guy that usually derailed topics on her, and who always wants to be the center of attention (look at me I bought something new) talking about my post and saying I’m the one looking for attention that made me laugh too    .

As for what I’m looking forward to in the next update, I say mostly stability, a better sample/sound browser, some more internal instruments (which I see are coming from Enoch’s post, too bad it’s not hype), better time stretch algo. Some of the other features I would like to see have been posted here religiously.

Hype would be cool man... but I suspect they aren't going to drop it for this revision of MPCs due to internal storage space constraints. I would happily dump it on a USB/SD/HDD, but... well we cannot.

I don't have a force, but I am curious if anybody has looked... is it just something that's sitting in an expansions folder on the internal HDD or is there something special about Hype that you couldn't just copy it over from internal if you had access?

Ya see? If you knew me you would know l come here to help people give people info on free stuff and cheap stuff. If you are saying l derail post yeah but lm not the only one. Post will get derailed. I have made threads and people derailed it you think l jump on them to get back on track? No! Let those grown men talk, they pay their own bills. It will not always stay directly on topic dude.

Don't get me sharing with people confused with attention. You think buying something for $5 or getting it for free is attention worthy? If you do then something is wrong. Gorls do that type if crap you're doing. Do you a lma do me.

I don't know all the details about Hype, lm thiking if Akai could put the other joints in the MPC they could put Hype in it. Heck the new stuff l was trying to figure out how they got it on MPC X and live that's coming. I just said the other day it would be dopr if we could get new synths on the MPC. Dope expansions also with instruments so if you have a midi keyboard you can kill it.

I'm slightly gutted you didn't respond to my die hard reference, but all good :P

It's one of the top Christmas movie.

I get somethings aren't working for some workflows but the machine does a lot, but some people are too zoomed in and are just looking for things that don't work and make that the reason they aren't successful.

I wish there was more talk about techniques and packs and fun stuff instead of acting we are in some sample famine.

Use something else if it's so bad.

That's not for you to judge now, is it.

In order to develop "techniques", there has to be something other than workarounds, which is why you see so many complaints. The MPC X is awesome hardware-wise, but needs some serious overhaul software-wise. Some parts of the software is already there, but then there are things that frankly is just missing. Oh right, I am talking about standalone, because I don't need two computers to make music, that's just silly.

So until that happens... happy trails.

Huh? What's not for me to judge?

What's your point about the two computer and standalone...?

Yours was the first comment right after my post that I enjoyed, Hans Gruber. At least it wasn’t that character from frozen which I’ve been getting since that came out instead of die hard. Thanks, one of the best Xmas movie ever

honestly i have never known die hard was an xmas movie.

Game of thrones however, is xmas full on. Except for the later episodes which showed way less titties & stuff. :(

Ontopic: Y'all think 2.8 is ''cancelled'' and a big 3.0 will come with all the plugins?
By Buzzard Mon Apr 27, 2020 11:20 am
Has anyone from Akai ever mentioned potential or limitations of more plugins? I would like more of them but am able to get a lot done with the 3 currently there. I just want a gnarlier synth with 8 voices but will probably just get some hardware.

I believe the limit is 8 plugins and i can only assume they test that shit to the max before releasing it to the public. There are about a zillion bete testers.

Sorry, I'm speaking about standalone mode.
