MPC X as Master Via Midi Time Code (MTC)

Hi just got the MPC X and love it but would like to keep it in Standalone mode and slave Logic to it via Midi Time Code (old school).

But when I select the Sync menu, and select Midi Time Code, the option for "which port" to send on is not active. I can't even move the cursor to that field.

Does it actually send MTC as of version 2.7 or is that not a feature yet?

The only option I see is to select either Midi Clock or Midi Time Code.

Either one of them I select, I can't access the "Send Port" menu to change it from "None"

Following. Only somewhat related to your issue, but as far as I know, Logic can't be slaved. I'm curious what you workout.

Studio One can't be slaved either as far as I know, but I moved to it because of how clunky Logic is with external sequencers, at least for my needs. Having a sequence on the Live trigger a track in Logic was a headache.

below that there is a button called: Send MMC. Checkbox that.

But seeing bezo's reaction. Its not gonna work anyway since you can't slave logic. Best if you do it the other way around and slave the mpc to logic..

Did both of those steps but it still doesn't allow me to select anything in "Send Port 1" from the dropdown menu.

Probably not. I believe it's only transport controls that can't be slaved, but I could be even mistaken about that.

On send port 1: it should say ''none'' now.

Double tap your finger on that.

Do you get a popup screen now where you can select the midi port?

Please post a video or screenshot of your settings if this doesn't work.
